What I love most about Thanksgiving is that it is a time to reflect and be thankful for all of the blessings in life, especially our family and friends. James and I are excited to be hosting our fourth Thanksgiving this year. It is a tradition that we look forward to every year and are so excited to be able to share it with Sophia and Isabella for the first time!
Here are some of the many things that I am thankful for this year...
Of course my beautiful girls are the light of my life, I still can't believe how blessed we have been to have not one, but two of the most amazing little angels to continually bless our lives day after day with their laughter grunts and coos, beautiful smiles, and cutest pouts :)
My incredible husband James who put up with me when I was a pregnant hormonal basketcase nut-job, to when I was a sleep-deprived zombie with newborns who could barely function, to now a busy working mom and wife trying to keep the house clean and the kids happy. I love my new life with him and cherish all of our time together!
I am so thankful for my mom and dad. I don't think I could have survived hospital bedrest and the first few weeks at home with the girls without having my mom right there by my side the entire time. She gave me a shoulder to cry on during the last few weeks of pregnancy when I was so scared and uncomfortable, then took even more time off to be with me and help with all of the overwhelming changes that came with the girls when we brought them home from the hospital - seriously mom I don't think I could have done this without your help! And thanks so much dad for letting me have her for those few months...I don't think you got to see much of her at all :)
My friends who provide me with a much-needed break from it all and listen to me complain, cheer me up when I'm sad, and make me laugh at the stupidest things all the time.
Our entire family, who are the best aunties, uncles, cousins, and grandparents that our children could ever ask for - we are so thankful that we have each and every one of you.
Stephanie, Jolene and Mimi for helping us out so much by watching the girls while I am at work. It is because of your commitment and generosity that I am able to work part-time and spend so much time at home with the girls. Thank you so much, words can't express how much this means to me!

James tricked me by wrapping up the uggliest pair of earings ever...they were big gold christmas trees with red glitter spraypainted on them! I didn't even know what to tell him, luckily before I said too much he told me that the real pair was underneath - what a brat! He also got me the amazon kindle - which is an electronic book that lets you download magazines and books to read. I have always loved to read so I am thrilled with the Kindle! I wrapped up nuggets tickets for the day after Christmas with Elway's Steakhouse menu and that was James present. We had a great night out while mimi, papa, great gramma, great papa, bradley, jolene and joseph watched the girls for us - thanks guys!
We packed up and headed over to mimi and papa's house later that morning and had a wonderful brunch with everybody, then opened more presents there. This was the mountain of presents before we opened them...holy cow!!
Papa got the same stomach flu that we had last week and it hit him Christmas morning so he spent the whole morning in bed :( It just wasn't the same without him around, we missed you papa!
Joseph helped us open presents since our hands were tied for a little while with the girls. He had a blast this year - he loves being around great gramma and great papa so much. He calls great papa his best friend and wants him to always hurry up and eat so they can go play - it is adorable!
Of course we forgot our camera when we visited the Sandovals on the 26th, but we had fun seeing Steph, Emily, Tyler, JoAnne and Harold that day. Thanks so much everybody for all of the cute clothes and toys! The girls are going to remain stylish for the next 6 months at least!
