Our Princesses are 4!

The girls wanted a princess ball for their 4th birthday party, and it was lots of fun to plan!
My friend Terri made them the most beautiful Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella cakes to match their dresses! The girls absolutely loved their cakes, so cute!

All of the little girls came in their princess costumes for the ball!
Auntie Jolene took the opportunity to practice Sophie's hair for the wedding

The trampoline was a HUGE hit! All of the kids played on it at the party, and the girls have jumped on it every single day since!

I decided to recycle my snow white costume for the party, what fun! When I came out of my bedroom their was a group of little girls in the playroom and they could not believe their eyes that Snow White was there!! I had a group of kids following me everywhere I went!
Snow White told all of the kids that they had to find their missing slipper before they could attend the princess ball! The kids looked all over the yard for their lost shoes, it was cute!

Love was in the air at the ball! We had princess music playing and the kids seemed to love it!

After the ball we had the kids put on lipstick and try to kiss the frog blindfolded!

The girls got distracted as soon as they opened their squishy princesses, we had to wait and do the rest of the presents later that afternoon! We had so much fun, thank you everybody for making their birthday so special!

Spring

The girls and I spent some time down on the beach at Stanley lake. It is fun for them to play in the sand and watch out for crocodiles and sharks!

Katie took the girls rock climbing at red rocks

James took on a pretty big project 2 weeks before the girls birthday... He decided to build a retaining wall and level off the side of our backyard so we could put in a trampoline for the girls.  It was lots of work, and 14 tons of dirt, but we got it done and are so grateful for everybody that came to help out! Anthony, Bradley and Mike helped us so much!!

On their actual birthday Anthony and Madison came over and we had cupcakes!
