Congratulations Wendy and Rich!

What a beautiful wedding. Wendy looked absolutely amazing and the setting was perfect with Hayden lake in the background - wow! We are so happy for you both- congratulations!!

Here is Stacie taking the mike to sing at the reception...We were all having so much fun dancing that we didn't get many pictures :) But it really was a blast to hang out with everyone - and Gramma was probably the best dancer of us all! We were able to put the girls to bed in cabin near the reception tent and have a grown-up night out, which trust me, we treasure!

Little Andrew in his tux

Our family before the reception on the patio - the view was so incredible!

It was pretty tough to get a picture of the cousins all together now that the girls are walking - but here is our best shot...

The Colorado crew

Boats, Boats, Boats!! In Post Falls it is all about the boats! Geri and Steve have a beautiful house on the Spokane River, here is the backyard and you can see how much they love their boats :)

Bradley and I took the little boat out for a spin up and down the river, but he was too chicken to go out on the lake in it :)

Steve's wooden Chris Craft boat, which I still have never been on a ride in!

The neighbor made this boat - it was quite a site

Geri's beautiful home on the river - the rehearsal dinner was here.

This is the condo we stayed in once we got out of the hotel room - it was very nice, just ask the poor cleaning lady how excited we were to take over this place :) We kept bugging her all morning waiting to move our stuff in!

When Andrew is around it is all about making him smile and giggle! And it isn't hard to do!

Bradley was so excited he got to take Joseph for a ride in Uncle Dale's truck just like Uncle Dale used to do with Bradley when he was a kid! That is one cool truck!

We had a great family vacation and we are all really looking forward to the next one! Stacie and Shawn's wedding next summer in Ko'olina Hawaii!! Wooohooo :)

First time up dercum mountain

The first weekend of August James and I took the girls up to keystone but we forgot the camera :( I still want to post about it so we can remember the good times we had...We went for a bike-ride from the Dillon marina to the Frisco marina, then had a picnic and rode our bikes back. We took the girls swimming and spent an afternoon in Breckenridge, and spent some time in River Run at the Bluegrass and Beer festival (we mostly enjoyed the bluegrass and not so much the beer!) They also rode the gondola up to the top of dercum mountain for the first time. They were pressed up against the glass pointing at everything - so cute! Then we planned on having a picnic at the top of schoolmarm but I forgot the food in the bike trailor at the bottom. So we ended up having cheerios for lunch but still had a good time. The girls absolutely looooooved running down schoolmarm. We would all run down screaming (don't ask me why, that's just what we do!) then pick them up, carry them back up, and do it again. Looks like there is a good chance they will want to try skiing this winter!

Day at the zoo

We took our little monkeys to the zoo a few weekends ago and we all had a fun time. The girls favorite animals were the fish, turtles, zebras and giraffes. I was excited for them to see an elephant because they read about them all the time and they are so huge but when they actually saw the elephants they barely looked up from the zoo maps - they couldn't care less! Kids are so funny :)
Here is Sophia pointing to a honu (turtle)
Isabella was pointing at all of the little fishes and talking up a storm!
Sophia was our tour guide through the aqarium...here she is figuring out what to look at next :)

They were pretty excited about the zebras
During lunch a peacock walked over and started eating the goldfish they left on the ground - I guess we are lucky the peacock didn't want to come home with us since we usually leave behind a trail of goldfish or cheerios wherever we go :)

Fun on the patio!

We are so happy to report the pergola is FINISHED! Our whole family is thrilled to have our patio back again...the girls have spent the last few months plastered to the sliding glass door looking outside wishing they could go play out there and now they actually can! It looks great and we have been having lots of fun using all of the space for a pool, baby gym, riding toys, beach balls, and of course our favorite - the firepit! Here are some pictures of the girls playing in their pool...

This is Isabella playing with Lila, their little friend who lives 2 doors down and is the same age as the girls.
