We were so happy to take another road trip to Butte Montana to see everybody!
It was fun this time to see how grown up the kids are getting, and all of the shananagans they pulled at great-gramma's house are the ones we used to do as kids!
We took the kids to the new splash pad at Clarks park, it was cute. Funny how much the girls love to swim but they still are not big fans of splash pads! It freaks them out, maybe they are just extra cautious like their mommy :)
I noticed this sign as I watched James and Bradley act like they are still teenagers!
So much fun to play on the cowboy swings!
I love this picture of Gramma and me
We spent an evening at Janets house to celebrate Grammy's Birthday...
...Although the celebration got a little crazy once the fireworks came out! I think everyone for miles around the Axelson house got to celebrate Grammy's birthday with us!
We were thinking the gun powder must go to their heads after a while. All of the boys started acting a little crazy as the night went on, as evidenced by Papa's face when he got ready to light "Got Pyro?"
Great-Grampa
Awww, how sweet! The girls did not make it easy on him this time, they were being shy for most of the trip!
Of course all of the kids loved to play with Uncle Eddie!
We had a great afternoon with everybody!
I can remember when this was Stacie and Wendy and me and Bradley eating breakfast with Grampa
We decided to be tourists this time and take the bus ride up to the Lady of the Rockies, or "Rocky" according to Sophie and Bella, or "Lady Who Glows in the Dark" according to the Joseph and Andrew :)
It was beautiful up there, we really enjoyed hearing her story
Later on we took the trolley tour of Butte and learned the history of the copper kings. It was very interesting, and fun to be with everybody in the trolley
I can't believe the girls did it again! Just under 11 hours coming back home with only 2 quick bathroom breaks! They are road trip champs!
