Playing in the snow
We were able to spend the weekend together with Mimi, Papa, Bradley, Jolene, Joseph and Andrew in Keystone.... Yes, it was a full house but we had lots of fun and this is the first time the girls actually loved playing in the snow! Bella wanted to ski so bad she kept asking and crying and walking up to everybody saying "bella's turn to ski!" so next time we go we are going to put the girls on skis and let them try it out!
Bella happy to be taking a break at the top of Dercum mountain. Baileys and coffee for the grown-ups and chocolate milk and cookies for the kiddos, life doesn't get much better than that :)
Winter wonderland view after 5 inches of snow last night
Yep, you guessed it! That's me cruising down Spring Dipper. Papa was being the paparazzi and following mimi and I down with the camera.

Our happy family, well mostly happy. I think at this point Bella was crying because she wanted to ski so badly! They were like little celebrities on the mountain, everybody thought they were super cute. One guy told me "awww they are so adorable, like little salt and pepper shakers" Um, okay, I'm not quite sure if that is a compliment, but definitely a first!

The White Ribbon of Death
The White Ribbon of Death, also known as: Opening Weekend.
That phrase was ringing in my ears as I put on my new ski's, pushed through the crowds, and and took my first few runs of the year. Of couse I was with thousands of other skiers and snowboarders all crammed onto the single open run to get a taste of early season snow!
Yes, it is crazy crowded and probably quite dangerous, but we can't miss out on opening weekend at Keystone. Bring on the snow, ski season is officially started - woohoooooooo!!
Home Sweet Home
The girls and I took a trip to Montana with Mimi, Papa, Bradley and Andrew. It was lots of fun, they got to see Great-Grammy, Great-Gramma, Both Great-Papas, Geri, Stacie, Janet, Jim, Carol, Ryan, Winky, Joanne, Ed, Brian and Erin, whew! And their favorite part was of course the airplane ride :) They are becoming seasoned travelers and it is getting easier every time.
The girls absolutely adored Great-Grammy, even now that we are home they always want to go show great-grammy their new outfits or new toys, it's cute.
Bradley, Grampa and me, so nice to spend time together!

We really enjoyed spending time with everybody, I'm so happy that the girls are getting to know my family even though we live far away. It's strange how Gramma's house in Butte feels so much like home to me. Lots of great memories there with my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, hope to be back soon!

Trick or Treat!
The girls have the cutest halloween kitty-cat shirts this year!
They loved being chickens so much last year (in fact they are still in our living room because they wear them all the time to cluck around the house!) that I thought animals would be fun to do again... They love their monkey suits and they are plenty big to last the rest of the year so they can play dress-up :) Here they are dressed up for their costume parade at school...
Sweet monkey Sophie
Funny monkey Bella
Bella and her little friend Juliette, she talks about Juliette at home all the time! Sophia's little friend Jack ran up and hugged her the other day and his mom said he talks about her constantly, it's pretty cute to see them making friends at school.
Katie took them to the park after their costume parade

Our house all decked out for halloween - spooky!
James worked very hard to make this guy on our front porch, I think he creeped out the trick-or-treaters a lot!
Getting ready to go trick-or-treating! Jame's scary wolf costume actually came in handy that night when the girls were dilly dallying along he would run behind them and growl and they would scream and run. "Run really fast" Bella kept saying :)
Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween!
Boo Bash
The costumes seem to get better and better every year, we had a great time at our Halloween Party! Thanks to everybody for making yummy treats and getting into the halloween spirit with creative and fun costumes :)

Pumpkin Patch
This was our third year taking the girls to the Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Ranch in Longmont, and it is getting more fun every year! They love everything about the pumpkin patch!
Shopping for baby pumpkins
Bella looks so tiny next to the giant pumpkins

Of course the bounce house provides endless fun for the girls

They had the cutest little animal train, each car was painted a different animal and the girls wanted to try out each one!

The loved hauling their wagons around and picking out pumpkins to bring home
