Dinner at Roy's

We got dressed up and went to a very nice dinner at Roy's in Ko'Olina on our last night on Oahu. The Butterfish was one of the best meals I've ever had, just wonderful! It was fun to cap off the week spent with the family...Stacie, Wendy and Rich, Geri and Steve, Gramma and Grampa, Mimi and Papa, Bradley, Jolene, Joseph and Andrew and James and I. We got a babysitter for the girls so we could enjoy a night out.

Bradley tryint a Lilikoi martini, man I wish we could make those at home, it was tasty!

Molokai Fun

We were able to do some snorkeling in front of the house this time but the best time we had in the water was the snorkel boat we took with Tim on our last day. We saw lots and lots of sea turtles, cool fish, and a couple hundred dolphins! I don't think I could ever get tired of looking at dolphins and sea turtles - they are just so cool!!

Of course we made the trip up to get Mocha Mamas almost daily... After all it is so conveniently located within 45 minutes of the entire island (well anyway, that is how we justified going!)
We drank so many pina coladas I finally got tired of them, which looking back seems utterly ridiculous!
James and Bradley went out lobster hunting one night...in the ocean...in the dark... which was scary for some of us back at the house waiting for them to come back! They never did catch anything, which makes me think we just might have to go back someday to try again...
Sweet Sophie at the Macademia Nut Farm... we took home some macademia nut honey mustard and raw macademia nuts
My favorite Hawaiian flowers, the birds of paradise

We made the trip up to the Kalaupapa lookout again, can't get tired of looking at the view. We were sad to find out the mule ride was closed until fall due to the trail being washed out, but happy to know it didn't happen while we were riding mules down it!

How can you pass up a hike to Phallic Rock?! Well, we made it and it is...well... Phallic. Of course we decided to take a picture with everybody and it turned out to be our favorite group picture of the trip, though the jury is still out on whether it is Christmas card appropriate :)

Hula Shores

In Molokai we enjoyed a night out at Hula Shores restaurant

Bradley got in the hammock and quickly spun around and fell out - it was pretty funny!
