Isla Mujeres Part 3 - The Last

Breakfast in the condo

I'm not sure if Bella enjoyed her drink!

But we sure enjoyed our cervesas and shrimp ceviche, yum!

 Cervesa por favor?
 Don't worry it was empty!
James gave Sophie a thrill ride on the floatie, they called it BIG WAVES
 Bella was running from sharks
And Sophie was ready for nap!
I got some quiet time on the beach for sunset while James got the girls ready for bed. James had a blast watching the Broncos game that night at Jax!
Breakfast at our favorite place, Barlitos!  Tiffany and Brad were the owners, and they absolutely loved the girls! She had toys for them to play with and lots of suggestions for stuff to do with the kids on our next vacation to Isla.
 The blume panini, so good!

After breakfast we checked out the Isla cemetary.
This is the tombstone for pirate Mundaca, whose story is a large part of Isla history

For our last day we just lounged by the pool and tried to soak up every last ray of sunshine!

The walkway to our nautibeach condo, it was beautiful!

At sunset we got some family pictures

And Sophia fell asleep in the hammock!
We already miss Isla Mujeres and can't wait to go back! The girls loved every minute and they made lots of friends there.  They said "Hola!" and "Gracias" and "Adios" and they knew lots of the islanders by name.  Bella especially loved spanish music, whenever she heard it she would start dancing and yell "This song is my favorite!"  I have a feeling this is our first trip of many to Isla!

Monster Bash 2011

I made my first ever homemade costume this year, a jellyfish! It was really cool looking with LED light hair extensions and everything :)  We were an under the sea family with our scary shark, beautiful mermaid, jellyfish and James was a shark-bite victim.

We had such a great time this year. Thanks everybody for helping with the food and for putting together such amazing costumes!  I tried to get pictures of everybody but I missed some :(
Anyway, here are the ones I got, and man this year the costumes were GREAT!!!

The winner for best individual costume was Eddie with his Richard Simmons! Loved it!

The winner for best group costumes were The Little Mermaid crew in the Spinks family, Amazing!

Trick or Treat!!

The girls got to pick their own costumes this year, which is a BIG DEAL when you are 3 years old! Sophia wanted to be a beautiful mermaid and Isabella wanted to be a scary shark!
They were both pretty stinkin cute!
The first festivity was the costume parade at preschool, it was really cute to see them all lined up so proud of their costumes.  They all shouted "Happy Halloween!"

Then on Halloween night we met up with the neighbors to do some trick or treating.

The girls with their friends Lilah and Matthew

We took a break at the Henry's house to check out the candy, they were so excited to have full buckets of candy!

 Let the craziness begin! Yikes!

Happy Birthday Nicholas Otto Stolz!

It just doesn't get any better than this! Holding my tiny new nephew who is absolutely precious!

Happy Birthday sweet Nicholas we love you very much!!
